Aquence® WL 0272 is a ready-for-use vinyl copolymer emulsion designed for assembly and edge-gluing operations in the furniture and allied industries. Aquence WL 0272 can also be used as a furniture manufacturing adhesive for the manufacture of both solid and hollow core interior doors. This furniture manufacturing adhesive has extremely high heat-resistance and also features high wet tack and good resistance to solvents found in most finishes. It contains iron scavenger to minimize staining on oak. Aquence WL 0272 is used for general purpose assembly, edge-gluing, post-building and in mobile home construction. It meets the requirements of ASTM E72 for gypsum wallboard structural building products under the classification program for manufactured housing.

APPLICATION
Squeeze bottle, roller, glue wheel, mechanical glue spreader
Assembly Range: Open: 0-2 minutes
Closed: 0-15 minutes
Press Cycle: Depends on construction, wood species and plant conditions. Press cycles range from 30 minutes to 2 hours under 50 to 200 PSI pressure.
Machining: Light machining after removal of pressure.
Temperature: Stock being glued and air temperature should be over 55°F (70°-80°F preferred)
Clean-up: Use water while adhesive film is still soft and acetone or MEK when it is dry
PRECAUTIONS
Rotate stock and use oldest material first. Keep adhesive covered to prevent drying out and contamination. Do not mix with other adhesives.

Warnock Hersey International, Inc., has completed successful qualification tests with Aquence WL 0272.
Based on these tests the adhesive has been found to have acceptable fire performance in a number of constructions up to 90 minutes (including Silicate & Gypsum cores and wood & MDF facings). Full listings are available from Intertek Testing Services.
